Specifications
It has high mechanical and abrasion resistance. It is easy to clean, dust free, hygienic and antibacterial. It provides economical solution in use. It has very good adhesion property. If required, a detailed chemical resistance table can be requested from our sios technical service.
Usage areas
Applied on metal surfaces exposed to high temperatures
Surface Preparation
All kinds of moisture, chloride, sulphate salts, rust on the metal surface should be removed from the surface by the Swedish Standard SIS 055900- 1967's Sa 2 1/2 degree grit spraying method or by mechanical method in St 2 standard. Also on metal surfaces, kit oz, dirt, oil and grease, cleaning materials should be cleaned with high pressure water jet. Welding splashes and sharp corners of surfaces should be ground. After different cleaning processes, the surface should be cleaned with an electric broom, clean and dry air or a clean brush. There should be a slight metal shine on the surface after the said processes and it should be applied to the surface preferably immediately, at the latest within 30 minutes after this process.
Method of Application
Sios TR-250 is mixed gently. Special thinner is added as needed. It should be applied with a air gun or brush at a maximum dry film thickness of 15-20 microns. Otherwise, adherence problems may occur at high temperatures. The recommended curing condition is 1 hour at 200˚C.
Consumption
Total theoretical consumption. 50 micron dry film with one liter
Packaging
Available in 18 kg metal packages.
Shelf life
It can be stored for a maximum of 12 months in closed areas at temperatures between + 5C and + 25C in its unopened original package. Opened material should be used as soon as possible.
Security Alert
During the application, no smoking and work should be done away from naked flames in well-ventilated areas. Hands and eyes should be protected with gloves and protective glasses. In case of material contact with eyes, eyes should be washed with plenty of water. Adequate ventilation is required during application. Ask your dealer for Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
