It can be applied on moist concrete surfaces. (Provided that there is no water on the surface, the surface moisture should be maximum 5-7%.) Low viscosity primers provide high penetration, thus increasing the strength of the concrete and becoming an adhesion bridge to subsequent layers. Concrete adhesion strength is quite high. (Pull off test necessarily comes by breaking the concrete.) Odorless and fireproof.
Usage areas
Sios epoxy WB primer is used as a primer for coating moist concrete surfaces. It can be used as a coating, repair mortar or mortar by adding quartz into the mixture. It is applied as lining material under epoxy and polyurethane coatings. (Care should be taken not to constantly come to moisture from the negative on the concrete surfaces it is applied on.)
Surface Quality
The concrete surface should be clean, sound and of sufficient compressive strength (at least 25 N / mm2), with a pull off strength of at least 1.5 N / mm2. should be free. The slurry layer on the surface must be removed. (Shot-Blast, Rota Tiger, Milling etc.
Surface Preparation
Concrete surfaces should be prepared to obtain an open-porous surface by removing cement grout using abrasive equipment. Weak concrete should be removed, voids and holes should be completely exposed. All dust, loose and loose particles should be removed from the floor with a brush and / or vacuum cleaner before the product is applied. Concrete cracks and false joints should be cleaned. It is important for surface repairs, filling blowholes / holes, repairing cracks, filling false joints.
Method of Application
Components A and B are mixed in a way that is 68/32 by weight and 2/1 by volume for 3 - 4 minutes until it becomes homogeneous. The homogeneous mixture obtained (400 rpm) is applied to the concrete with a roller or trowel or applied to the concrete surface with a trowel after mixing quartz. If an epoxy or polyurethane based coating is to be applied on it, silica sand with a grain diameter of 0.300 - 0.600 mm can be sprinkled on the SİOS epoxy WB primer while it is still wet.
Consumption
The total theoretical consumption is 0.20 -0.60 kg / m2.

Presented in plastic packages of 5 KG (A) + 15 (B) KG.
Shelf life
It can be stored for a maximum of 12 months in closed areas at temperatures between + 5C and + 25C in its unopened original package. Opened material should be used as soon as possible.
Security Alert
During the application, no smoking and work should be done away from naked flames in well-ventilated areas. Hands and eyes should be protected with gloves and protective glasses. In case of material contact with eyes, eyes should be washed with plenty of water. Adequate ventilation is required during application. Ask your dealer for Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
